2026 MARKET SEASON

A Note from Dana 🤍

After four incredible years, I’ve made the very difficult decision to step back from hosting the weekly Ipswich Homegrown Market this season.

With recently proposed increases to Farmers Market Permit fees by the Department of Public Health, the model no longer feels sustainable for the small businesses this market was built to support.

This decision has not been easy. Homegrown has always been a one-woman operation, built with the intention of uplifting others and creating something meaningful for our community—but there comes a point where the weight becomes too much to carry alone.

I want to be very clear: THE STORE IS NOT CLOSING.

Our shop at 196 High Street is OPEN year-round and continues to be home to 50+ incredibly talented local artists, makers, and small businesses.

We’re still here. We’re still growing. And we remain deeply committed to supporting local 🤍

I am beyond grateful for the love and support this community has shown—not just for my dream, but for the dreams of every vendor who has been part of Homegrown over the years. That support has meant everything to me.

✨ The Homegrown Holiday Market will return this season

✨ New events, pop-ups, and community moments are on the way

Thank you for being part of this journey. Truly.

With gratitude,

Dana
